The Car of Choice for a Modern Wedding

This couple celebrated with an elegant modern ceremony, and an Italian flavoured reception Couple: Shardan & Antonio Location: Le Montage To celebrate Antonio’s Italian background, the couple and their 190 guests enjoyed a meal of Italian cuisine at premier venue Le Montage, which has a touch of Italian flavour. The couple even honeymooned in Italy! Shardan wore an elegant Henry Roth wedding dress from Dressense in Miranda, made from Chantilly lace with Swarovski beading. Worn with a pair of unique, lace-up boots, the look complemented the vintage feel of the wedding. The bridesmaids wore Alfred Angelo chiffon gowns in celadon (pale green), each with an elegant pearl brooch. The groomsmen wore brown velvet bowties in keeping with the vintage theme. After a beautiful ceremony at St John’s Anglican Church in Camden, the couple and their large party headed to Le Montage for a luxurious waterfront reception. The beautiful interior and bay views made this venue the perfect place to celebrate their marriage. The celebrations began as Shardan and Antonio entered the grand ballroom accompanied by an accordion player. A highlight of the night was when Shardan and Antonio shared their first dance as a married couple to “This Year’s Love” by David Gray. Bride's Advice: “Embrace the planning process and the day, because it goes so fast.”

Transport Ideas for a Large Wedding

A massive 350 wedding guests helped celebrate this duo’s love story Couple: Danie & James Location: Dockside, Darling Harbour Daniela and James first met at a bar five years ago, but it wasn’t until they connected on MySpace that the couple began to officially date. James proposed a couple of years later at a holiday home in Nelsons Bay, pleasantly surprising the PJ-clad Daniela. Daniela wore a stunning Arushie Bridal Couture gown that “felt like it was out of a magazine”, according to the bride. The French lace bodice was adorned with beaded Swarovski rhinestones, flowing down to a tiered silk and organza skirt. Daniela also wore a matching headpiece and a veil that her mother had worn at her own wedding 31 years earlier. The bride and her father were chauffeured from Wollongong for the Sydney wedding in a Mercedes owned by Openair Wedding Cars. Despite a tight schedule and coffee stops along the way, they made great time to the Kingsford church. Cruising in a Porsche Carrera 4S plus Mercs and BMWs, Openair’s drivers kept the bridal party energised throughout the day, providing refreshments and beverages. The reception for 350 guests was held on the balcony level of Dockside, a highlight being the buffet dessert table filled with fruit platters, ice cream, cakes, sweets, and a chocolate fountain.

Having a great wedding car is all part of your fabulous and elegant wedding day. You'll obviously need a wedding car to get you to the ceremony and you're going to need a wedding car to take you to your reception and then get you away at the end of the evening. Wedding cars play quite a big part in the day ahead and you're going to want to make sure that for that dream wedding day, you get your dream wedding car!

Yet what is it that you'd need to consider when you think about wedding cars? Is it just a simple question of popping along to your wedding car specialist and making sure that the day in question is free? What do you need to know and what do you need to avoid or not avoid when booking that dream wedding car for your dream wedding day!

What Is Your Wedding Theme?
Before you book your white Bently, think about whether your wedding car is going to blend well with your wedding theme. Your white Bently wedding car may look awesome yet it may look a little out of place if your wedding theme is filled with retro wedding cakes and pinball machines!

Wedding Car Roof Up Or Down?
Open top cars are quite a popular choice of wedding car. They look sensational and they are seriously glamorous. Yet you need to be considering who will be chauffered in the wedding car. There are hairstyles and veils that will require serious consideration should you go for the drop top option of wedding car!

Wedding Car Distances
Vintage wedding cars are beautiful and charming, yet they are also quite uncomfortable! If you've got a long way to go between ceremony and reception, this is something you may need to take into consideration. Make sure your wedding car is up to the job!

Wedding Car Colour
Albeit that most traditional wedding cars are predominantly white in colour, you can add some accent colour to blend with your bridesmaids dresses by using ribbons to dress the wedding car in question. Yet if you were hoping for an alternative wedding car in bright colours, take heed over the theme and colours.

Wedding Car Photography Opportunities
Wedding cars make impressive backdrops for beautiful wedding photos. Make sure that you don't miss out on the opportunity of that classic wedding car with the bride and groom photo shot for your mom's mantlepiece!

Safety Issues
Double check all safety issues pertaining to children riding in wedding cars. Some may require written parental permission and if you don't have it, you can't suddenly change your wedding day passenger plans on the day.
