Pulling off the Princess Theme
This couple enjoyed the perfect day filled with traditional cultural touches, love and romance Couple: Nichanan & Arongkorn Location: L'aqua Terrace Room, Cockle Bay Wharf Nichanan and Aron met through a mutual friend and soon after began communicating and sharing activities such as scuba-diving at the Great Barrier Reef, and visiting theme parks on the Gold Coast. The couple also took an overseas holiday to Japan together. After two years of dating, Aron surprised Nichanan by proposing while on a skiing holiday in Perisher, Snowy Mountains. The couple chose to have a traditional Thai ceremony, with the bridal couple’s parents, bridesmaids, MC and also some guests wearing traditional Thai dress. The ceremony included traditional Thai music, making the day a wonderful celebration of love and culture. The newlyweds wanted to do everything in a sweet, fun and romantic way. “We loved our flower arrangement with white, pink and purple flowers that featured a high twisted tree branch in the vase next to tealight candles on the table as guests entered,” says Nichanan. At the entrance to the reception, a musician played acoustic love songs while guests arrived to create a romantic atmosphere inside the room. “We chose the L’Aqua Terrace Room because it came with a big and long balcony and beautiful Darling Harbour views, which was great for summer. It turned out to be an excellent choice because the food was really delicious and the staff very friendly.” Bride's Advice: “Take it easy and do everything with love. Let go and remember to smile like you mean it. Be happy and enjoy your wonderful day. Get a good photographer and videographer — so many things happen on the day that you will forget so it was really nice to relive the day through our pictures and video and to see all of our friends and family having such a good time together.”
