Is a Hot Rod Right For You?

For this couple, it was love at first dance Couple: Kelly and Brad Unexpected Engagement It was love at first dance for Kelly and Brad, who first met at a local night club six years ago. One night after years of dating and the recent purchase of their new home, Brad surprised Kelly with a Tiffany & Co ring. “It was one of the most exciting days!” says Kelly. Blushing Bride The couple spent seven months planning their wedding of 135 guests, deciding on a neutral colour scheme with Blushing Pink pastel bridesmaids' dresses and white rose bouquets. Kelly looked gorgeous in a sparkling strapless gown by Stella York. Brad and his groomsmen were handsomely dressed in suits from Raffaele Ciuca, accessorised with watches from Angus & Coote. Arrive in Style The ceremony was held at the St. Andrews church in Werribee followed by photos in the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens. The bridal party hired DR ROD Hot Rod Hire to transport them comfortably and stylishly between the ceremony, park and later the reception at the glamorous Manor on High in Epping. “The cars were absolutely amazing and the boys driving the cars were even nicer!” reflects Kelly. Bride's Advice: “Enjoy every minute of your day. Don’t spend it stressing out about things you can’t control because the day goes by so quickly! You want to look back and have no regrets; I know I certainly don’t have one! It also helps to choose the right people on the day, such as photographer, videographer etc.”

Pure romance at a winery wedding

This stunning couple’s vintage wedding was a romantic and magical day in the Hunter Valley Josie and Tyson met in 2005 when they were both only 17 years old, and the happy pair has been together ever since. Like every couple they’ve had their ups and downs, but, as Josie says, “This has only made us stronger.” Both travellers at heart, Josie and Tyson have visited many places around the world together, but one trip proved to be particularly special. At the magnificent Grand Canyon in Las Vegas, at sunset, Tyson proposed to Josie. The couple opted for a pastel colour scheme with vintage nuances. mint green, lavender, peach and pastel pink helped create a vintage shabby chic theme, which was very simple but beautiful and romantic. “I’ve always been a plain Jane,” says Josie, “and we are both romantics, so this theme worked beautifully for us.” The day was a simple but gorgeous affair. “It was very romantic, very emotional, lots of laughter and tears,” Josie reveals. “It was just full of excitement. Like a perfect fairytale, our wedding day exceeded our expectations, more magical then we’d dreamt of.” Josie wore an Atelier Altaari Made To Measure Bridal Design with a perfectly fitted lace gown, sophisticated low-cut back and ultra-chic semi-transparent bodice. Tyson wore a slim-fit Hugo Boss suit with a white-collared shirt, a slim white tie from Roger David and tan shoes. Bride's Advice: “Take a deep breath as often as you can. Take a look around the room — everyone is there to share and help celebrate the beginning of your new chapter together as the new Mr & Mrs. I also advise the bride to steal her husband away for at least 10 to 15 minutes for some alone time to just take it all in, as the day tends to slip away from you easily. Embrace it. This is all your dreams — and what you’ve worked so hard to achieve — coming to life.”
