A Real Country Wedding In The Allview Escape Garden

This Perth couple wed in a country-styled ceremony, overlooking the gorgeous Blue Mountains landscape. Couple: Cassandra & Keith Location: Allview Escape, Katoomba Cassandra met Keith at Newcastle University when they were studying in 2002. Cassandra was from Mudgee and Keith from Brisbane. The couple were next-door neighbours in one of the university campus dormitories and quickly became friends. Their strong connection stayed, even after distance, life and work commitments got in the way over the following six years. “In 2008, we reunited face to face in Newcastle and decided we couldn’t be apart any longer. Sparks flew!” says Cassandra. The couple moved to Perth and had a son, Kian. Although the day had a weather forecast of 80 per cent chance of rain, it turned out beautifully for their open-air ceremony. In front of the couple’s 90 guests (including children), the pair said “I do” overlooking the beautiful Blue Mountains at Allview Escape. Cassandra walked down the aisle in a stunning one-shoulder Kyra gown from Tuscany Bridal boutique, and donned a gorgeous white fl oral hairpiece. “Our celebrant, Judy Spencer, created a ceremony totally beyond our expectations. It was absolutely touching and many of our guests commented on what an amazing ceremony she had put together,” says Cassandra. Nature put on a spectacular show at midnight, with a lightning display over the Sydney skyline. Bride's Advice: “Involve your friends and family in the process, especially on the day. Our wedding was a creation that came together with the help of both our families and this made it all the more special to us and, we hope, our loved ones.”

Pure romance at a winery wedding

This stunning couple’s vintage wedding was a romantic and magical day in the Hunter Valley Josie and Tyson met in 2005 when they were both only 17 years old, and the happy pair has been together ever since. Like every couple they’ve had their ups and downs, but, as Josie says, “This has only made us stronger.” Both travellers at heart, Josie and Tyson have visited many places around the world together, but one trip proved to be particularly special. At the magnificent Grand Canyon in Las Vegas, at sunset, Tyson proposed to Josie. The couple opted for a pastel colour scheme with vintage nuances. mint green, lavender, peach and pastel pink helped create a vintage shabby chic theme, which was very simple but beautiful and romantic. “I’ve always been a plain Jane,” says Josie, “and we are both romantics, so this theme worked beautifully for us.” The day was a simple but gorgeous affair. “It was very romantic, very emotional, lots of laughter and tears,” Josie reveals. “It was just full of excitement. Like a perfect fairytale, our wedding day exceeded our expectations, more magical then we’d dreamt of.” Josie wore an Atelier Altaari Made To Measure Bridal Design with a perfectly fitted lace gown, sophisticated low-cut back and ultra-chic semi-transparent bodice. Tyson wore a slim-fit Hugo Boss suit with a white-collared shirt, a slim white tie from Roger David and tan shoes. Bride's Advice: “Take a deep breath as often as you can. Take a look around the room — everyone is there to share and help celebrate the beginning of your new chapter together as the new Mr & Mrs. I also advise the bride to steal her husband away for at least 10 to 15 minutes for some alone time to just take it all in, as the day tends to slip away from you easily. Embrace it. This is all your dreams — and what you’ve worked so hard to achieve — coming to life.”
