The history of Shocolate Inspired by the world of couverture and with a passion for hospitality spanning more than 20 years, brother and sister team Nick Yannopoulos and Pamela Raschella founded Shocolate in 2008, originally testing and creating their extensive range of products in their home kitchen over several months prior to opening. Once they had a menu fit for any Belgian couverture connoisseur, Shocolate was ready to open its doors to the Melbourne public in October 2009. Shocolate is a multi-award-winning chocolatier. It was the 2011 Australian Champion for Assorted Chocolate Range, the recipient of the NGV award for Best Chocolate Macaron, as well as being praised for having Melbourne’s best hot chocolate in the Herald Sun.
