Welcome to the Brides Collective website. This Terms of Use Agreement (‘The Terms’) governs your access to and use of the Brides Collective website, products, information and services (collectively, the website), and any content, text and graphics appearing on or posted to the website. Please read these Terms carefully and contact us at hi@bridescollective.com if you have any questions. By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.bridescollective.com/privacy ) and you agree to accept, comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please be advised that these Terms contain disclaimers of warranties and limitations on liability that may be applicable to you. Please note that you may not use the website or accept the Terms if you are under 13 years of age.

We reserve the right to:-

  1. Change these Terms at any time. We will notify you of that change by email or by posting a notice on the website. By continuing to use the website, you agree to be bound by the amended Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the website;
  2. Change or discontinue the website and any or all of the products, information and services provided (including commercial features and services), either permanently or temporarily, without any notice to you;
  3. Deny or terminate your use of or access to the Website.


Some functions of the Website require you to register or provide certain information to us. You understand that all information provided will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.bridescollective.com/privacy ). If you choose to register or provide information to us you agree to:-

  1. Provide accurate, complete and up to date information as requested (including your email address);
  2. Maintain and update your information as required to keep it accurate, complete and up to date;
  3. Allow us to use the information to contact you in delivering the Website’s services to you.

If you choose to register through Facebook, you will remain bound by Facebook’s terms of service when you are using Facebook’s website and you provide us with the authority to copy your Facebook details to the website.

Relevant professionals may elect to register as a business on the website and create a Business Listing. All of the Terms in this Agreement apply to the use of any business account or registration including, without limitation, maintaining profile information, the posting of content and indemnification obligations.

All registered account holders are automatically set up to receive email communications from us, and business listing users may receive phone and mail communications from us based on the information provided. We may continue to contact you and provide you with information from Brides Collective until you indicate otherwise. You may opt out of receiving communications from us at any time by altering the email settings contained within your profile or by emailing us at hi@bridescollective.com for other forms of communication.

You accept that we reserve the right to terminate this Agreement, any member account registration, and/or your use of the Website at any time and for any reason without notice to you.

Login Information and Security:

We care about the security of our users and work to protect the security of your content and account. However, you are responsible for protecting the password associated with your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from failure of safeguarding passwords. Further, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat our security measures and access your account. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorised use of your account.

User Content and User Content Ownership:

Brides Collective is a website with functions that allows for the posting of User Content through user participation including but not limited to posting, transmitting or uploading professional projects, photos, links, articles, commenting on images, requesting quotes, writing reviews, creating public profiles and saving images to mood boards. User Content also includes content submitted to Brides Collective to be posted on behalf of the user for their convenience.

Posting User Content is voluntary, however if you choose to do so, you acknowledge and agree that:

Brides Collective is a Website with functions that allows for the posting of User Content through user participation including but not limited to posting, transmitting or uploading professional projects, photos, links, articles, commenting on images, requesting quotes, writing reviews, creating public profiles and saving images to moodboards. User Content also includes content submitted to Brides Collective to be posted on behalf of the user for their convenience.

  1. All content posted by you and associated with you on the website will or may be viewed by the general public and collected or used by others. Content posted by you on the website will not be treated as private or confidential. We will not be held responsible if other people save, gain access to, or use your content.
  2. The poster of any User Content, including content covered by intellectual property rights, agrees to provide Brides Collective and its affiliates with an unrestricted, non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty free, and worldwide license to use, copy, publish, adapt, create derivative works of, distribute, store, reproduce, publically display, and otherwise use or exploit any such content in any format or media (the IP License). This IP License will extend for the duration of any copyright or other rights in such User Content and be perpetual and non-revokable for any reason.
  3. User Content posted to the site may be used to advertise, promote, or otherwise market the Brides Collective website and affiliated Brides Collective products without notice or payment to you.
  4. Following your deletion or removal of any User Content from the website, we may retain such content for a commercially reasonable period of time for back-up purposes. Further, we and our users may retain and continue to use, store, display, share, save to mood boards, reproduce, modify, create derivative works and otherwise distribute and publish any of your User Content that other users have already stored, shared or otherwise used.
  5. The poster is solely responsible for all User Content you post to the website.
  6. By posting any content on the website, you represent and warrant to Brides Collective, that you own or have the right to use and permit us to use and license such content in the manner stated in these Terms. By way of example and not limitation, if you post a photograph which includes the image of any person, you need to first obtain permission or a release from such person appearing in the photograph to use their image and permit us to use and license it and you must be the copyright owner or have permission from the copyright owner to use the photograph as stated in these Terms.
  7. The poster agrees not to post any content that is inaccurate, defamatory, infringing, illegal or otherwise wrongful.
  8. Should you allow another person or a third party to use your Brides Collective login, you understand that we will deem this to be your conduct and you will be responsible for that conduct.
  9. You may however submit your content to Brides Collective to be uploaded to the site under your account and on your behalf for your convenience. This will still constitute User Content as it is provided by you and uploaded on your behalf.

Brides Collective acknowledges and agrees to you that:

  1. The poster retains all rights in the User Content you post subject to the rights granted to Brides Collective under these Terms and specifically in the IP License at (b) above, and no ownership of such copyrights is transferred to Brides Collective under these Terms.
  2. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the attribution of photos and IP content submitted by you.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse to post, remove or modify User Content for any reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms. Further, we cannot and do not guarantee to post all content submitted to the website by users.
  4. We reserve the right to edit or abridge User Content for any reason
  5. While we reserve the right to remove any User Content for any reason, we have no obligation to delete content that you may find objectionable.

Reviews and ratings:

As a user, you may be able to post comments, reviews or ratings of a professional, their product or work on the website. Such posts are considered User Content. If you post a review or rating of a professional, their product or work on the website, you acknowledge that:

  1. It is based on your first-hand experience;
  2. Is accurate, truthful and complete;
  3. You are not an employee, contractor or director of the business, service provider or vendor that is the subject of the review;
  4. You are not an employee, contractor or director of a competitor to the business, service provider or vendor that is the subject of the review.

Use of Content on the Website:

Brides Collective encourages User Content posted to the website at any time of the day and at the user’s convenience. As a result, we do not control in real time the content posted to the website. As such, we do not make any warranties and representations about the content or information found on the website. Further, we do not support, endorse, or guarantee the reliability, truthfulness, accuracy, integrity, or quality of content, information or communications on the website. The poster is solely responsible for all User Content posted to the website.

The reliance and use of any content or information posted on the website or acquired by you through the website is at your own risk. Under no circumstances will Brides Collective be liable in any way for use of any content, including but not limited to errors or omissions, any loss or damage of any kind experienced as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the website and its services.

Reviews are solely the opinions of the users that post them and none of the reviews on the website contain or reflect any opinions or views of Brides Collective.

The content and information on the website concerning a business, product, professional or service is provided by users and while we require users to provide complete, accurate and non-misleading information, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee that any statements or descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, not misleading, or error free, and we are not responsible for and disclaim any liability arising from or relating to such information.

Third parties and Third Party links:

The website may contain links to other websites for your convenience. We make no representation, endorsement, or assume any responsibility for or about third-party-operated websites, we do not control the linked websites or the content provided on them, and we have not reviewed such websites. Your use of third-party links is subject to the privacy practices and terms of use established by the specific linked website, and we disclaim all liability from such use.

You acknowledge and agree that Brides Collective is not responsible or a party to any agreement or transaction that you choose to enter into with any third party. Any such arrangements or transactions entered into are at your own risk.

Where any dispute arises between you and another user of Brides Collective you acknowledge that Brides Collective will not be a party to any such dispute.

Acceptable User conduct:

We want to ensure that Brides Collective is a safe, comfortable and inspiring place that functions optimally for all users. You agree not to use the website and its content or services to take any actions that:

  1. Are contrary to Brides Collective’s public image, goodwill or reputation;
  2. Infringe on or uses our or any third party’s copyrights or trademarks, or any confusingly similar marks, or trade secrets or other proprietary rights;
  3. Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices contained in or on the website;
  4. Are unlawful or violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance, or regulation, or encourage any conduct that would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability;
  5. Are libellous, misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, threatening, harassing, invasive of privacy, abusive, tortious, hateful, intimidating, discriminatory, pornographic, or obscene;
  6. Collect content, personally identifying user information or other information, or otherwise accesses the website, by automated means;
  7. Use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index or ‘data mine’ the website or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the website or its content, authentication and security measures;
  8. Use Brides Collective’s user information to forge any packet header or any part of the header information in any email or newsgroup posting, or in any way use Brides Collective to send altered source-identifying information;
  9. Disable, burden, or impair the proper working of the website, such as a denial of service attack, or the uploading or distribution of any virus, malicious code, worm or other similar deleterious files, scripts or programming routines;
  10. Restrict, or inhibit any other visitor from using the website, including, without limitation, by means of ‘hacking’ or defacing any portion of the website;
  11. Modify, adapt, sub-license, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the website or its information;
  12. Interfere with or disrupt any services or equipment with the intent of causing an excessive or disproportionate load on the infrastructure of Brides Collective or its suppliers;
  13. Enable or involve the preparation or distribution of unlawful multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or other deceptive or unsolicited bulk or commercial communications;
  14. Post unauthorised commercial communications to the website;
  15. Express or imply that any of your statements, activities or causes are endorsed by us without our prior written consent;
  16. Offer any contest, giveaway or other promotion without our prior written consent;
  17. Brides Collective may otherwise determine to be inappropriate.

Should you allow a third party to use your Brides Collective login, you understand that we will deem this to be your conduct and you will be responsible for that conduct.

Improper or inappropriate use of the website, information and services may result in termination of your access to the website and/or civil or criminal liabilities.

Ownership and Trade Mark Notice:

The website is owned and operated by Universal Magazines Pty Ltd, and the products, information and services (and any intellectual property and other rights relating to it) are the property of Universal Magazines. The website, its products, information and services are protected by Australian and International copyright, trademark and other laws, and you acknowledge that these rights are valid and enforceable. The website, its products, information and services may only be used to the extent permitted by this Agreement. The words ‘Brides Collective’ and the Brides Collective logos are trademarks of Universal Magazines. Nothing contained in these Terms or on the website should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark(s) without the express permission of Brides Collective, Universal Magazines or the relevant trademark owner. You may not take any action that is in conflict with our rights in our ownership of the Brides Collective trademark or the website, its products, information and services.

Claims for Copyright of Trademark Infringement:

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. We will respond to alleged infringement notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA). If you believe in good faith that content or materials on the website infringe your copyright, then you (or your authorised agent) may send us a notice addressed to the Brides Collective Designated Copyright Agent containing the information below and requesting that the material be removed. Brides Collective will review your claim and will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged material from the website. If we remove the content in response to a notice, we may notify the user with details about the notice so that they can submit a counter notice pursuant to the DMCA. If we determine that the materials alleged to infringe your copyright do not require removal, then the materials can still be removed pursuant to a court order delivered by you. It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of others.

Please provide the following information in writing in your notice:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work or trademark that you claim has been infringed, or if multiple copyrighted works or trademarks located on the website are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing information reasonably sufficient to allow us to located the material on the website;
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Brides Collective to contact you, such as your name, address, telephone number, and, email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information contained in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.

Please be advised that Brides Collective will not respond to notices or complaints that do not meet these requirements.

Please be aware that there can be penalties for false claims under the DMCA. It is advisable that you contact a lawyer regarding your rights and obligations under the DMCA and other applicable laws.

Payments and Paid Products:

If you purchase any of our paid products, such as The Pro Business Page product and The Content Marketing Upgrade product, you agree to pay us the applicable fees and taxes. Failure to pay these fees may result in the termination of your subscription to the paid product. Also:

  1. All prices are listed in Australian dollars. Your purchase may be subject to foreign exchange fees or differences in prices based on your location (e.g. exchange rates and GST tax);
  2. You authorise us to store and continue billing your payment method (e.g. credit card) even after it has expired, to avoid interruptions to your product (e.g. paid listing upgrade) and to facilitate easy payment for new products;
  3. You must pay us for applicable fees and taxes unless you cancel the paid product, in which case you agree to still pay these fees through the end of the applicable subscription period. For more information and how to cancel your paid product, please see our Cancelation Terms and Instructions listed below.

Billing and Automatic Renewal:

You will be billed the relevant amount based on the paid product you select and the amount advertised on the day you sign up. We offer both monthly and annual billing. Depending on what option you choose, your membership will automatically be renewed at the end of each month or at the end of each year.


You will be emailed a receipt for all payments made to Brides Collective at the time the payment is being made to the email address provided to us and linked to your business profile. For an additional record of your payments made to Brides Collective simply:

  1. Move your cursor to your listing name in the top right hand corner of the site, click on the arrow to see your personal drop-down menu and select the ‘My Setting’ tab from the options;
  2. Select Payments from the options listed under the ‘Account’ heading on the left;
  3. You should now see a history of your payments made to Brides Collective with all taxes noted and included;

Cancelations and Instructions:

You can cancel your paid services booking at any time and revert to your free Basic Account.

To cancel your paid service:

  1. Move your cursor to your listing name in the top right-hand corner of the site, click on the arrow to see your personal drop-down menu and select the ‘My Setting’ tab from the options;
  2. Select ‘Payments’ from the options listed under the ‘Account’ heading on the left;
  3. Click on the pink ‘Cancel Subscription’ button.

When cancelling your paid service:

  1. Cancellation will cease billing at the end of your current billing cycle. For example, at the next monthly renewal date for monthly payment plans and at the next yearly renewal date for annual payment plans.
  2. Your access to any paid features or services will end from the date you cancel.
  3. If you were on a plan, promotion or price that is no longer offered, you will not be able to re-purchase that same plan again or re-purchase at the promotional price.
  4. You will only be able to delete your payment method at the end of your current billing cycle.
  5. All of the projects you have uploaded and the quotes you have received etc will remain published to and accessible from the site following cancelation, unless you delete them.


All of your paid product features expire immediately at the time you cancel your paid account.

It is not possible to downgrade to another paid product on the site. Please cancel your current product and subscription and resubscribe to the new product of your choice once your previous billing period expires.


Generally, all fees and charges are non-refundable and if you cancel a paid account before the end of your billing cycle, there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. Except as noted here, all paid products, services and ads are non-refundable after purchase and delivery.

Under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, you may qualify for a refund of a paid product if requested by you within a short period of time after beginning your subscription.

Term and Termination:

This Agreement and its Terms are effective from the date that you first access the website and shall remain effective until terminated in accordance with its terms. We may immediately terminate or suspend this agreement, and/or your access to and use of the website, at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. This Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. All disclaimers, all limitations of liability and all Brides Collective rights of ownership shall survive termination.

Warranty Disclaimer:

The website, including but not limited to its products, information and services, is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis and without warranty, representation or guarantee of any kind, whether express or implied. Brides Collective expressly disclaims, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, all warranties and conditions of title, accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for any particular purpose of use, and non-infringement, and any warranty arising out of course of dealing, course of purpose or usage of trade.

There is no warranty, representation, or guarantee that the website, or your use of the website, will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, accurate, reliable, secure or that defects will be corrected, or that the website and any information, software or other material accessible from the website is free of viruses or other harmful components, or that any feature of the website will continue to be provided.

We take no responsibility and assume no liability for any User Content or Third Party Content that you or any other user or third party posts or transmits using the website and its services and products. We do not guarantee or endorse the accuracy of any User Content or third party information. You understand and agree that you may be exposed to User Content that is inaccurate, objectionable, inappropriate, or otherwise unsuited to your purpose.

Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither Brides Collective nor any of its licensors, sponsors, agents, successors, or assigns, nor our or their directors, officers, employees, consultants or other representatives, shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive or other damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, or any other liabilities under any contract, negligence, strict liability, or other theory arising out of or relating in any manner to:

  1. the website, its products, information, services, and/or any linked website;
  2. your access to or your use of or inability to access or use the website, its products, information, and services;
  3. your hiring or engagement of, or association with, any third-party advertising, using or offering products or services through the website;
  4. any conduct or content of any user or third party on the website, including, without limitation, any inaccurate, incomplete, misrepresented, defamatory, offensive, or illegal content or conduct of other users or third parties; or
  5. unauthorised access, use or alteration of your content

whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damages or liabilities.

Your sole remedy with respect to this website, its products, information and services, is to stop using the website, service, and information as applicable.


You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold Brides Collective and Universal Magazines, our licensors, suppliers, agents, successors, and assigns and our and their directors, officers, employees, consultants, and other representatives, harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees), and other expenses incurred by us or any third party that arise directly and indirectly out of or from:

  1. your breech of any of these Terms;
  2. any allegation that any materials you submit to us or transmit on the website infringe or otherwise violate copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
  3. your use of, access to or activities in connection with the website or other websites to which the Website is linked;
  4. reasonable reliance by us or any third party upon any acts carried out, requests made or information provided through the use of your registered account, and/or
  5. your negligence or wilful misconduct.

General Terms:

Dispute Resolution:

For any dispute you have with Brides Collective, you agree to first contact us at hi@bridescollective.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we are unable to resolve your dispute informally, we each agree to resolve any claim, dispute, or controversy (excluding claim for injunctive or other equitable relief) arising out of or in connection with or relating to these Terms by mediation under the laws of New South Wales before resorting to the court system.

Governing Law & Jurisdictional Issues:

This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. You agree that any local court in New South Wales selected by us shall be deemed to be the appropriate court or proper venue for any action arising from this order.

The Brides Collective website is controlled and operated from Australia, and we make no representations that its services, products or information operates, is appropriate or is available for use in other or in all geographic locations. If you choose to access the website, you agree and acknowledge that you do so on your own initiative and at your own risk, and that you are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

Entire Agreement/Severability:

These Terms together with the Privacy Policy (available at https://www.bridescollective.com/privacy ) and any additional written agreements you enter into with Brides Collective or Universal Magazines in connection with the Brides Collective website, its products and services, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Brides Collective and Universal Magazines concerning the website and its products and services.

If any term(s) or provision(s) of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.

Any heading, caption, or section title contained in this Agreement is inserted only as a matter of convenience and in no way defines or explains any section or provision hereof.

This Agreement may only be modified as set forth herein. No person may verbally vary these terms and conditions.


These terms, and any rights, obligations, and licenses granted in it, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by Brides Collective without restriction. Any attempted transfer or assignment by you shall be null and void.

No Waiver:

No waiver of any term in this Agreement shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term of any other term, and any failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
