A big part of having a wedding run smoothly is organising it right. A run sheet can help you and your bridal party keep track of what should be happening when. It should include start and finish times of all elements, as well as the adresses of all locations. Include contact details of all suppliers who are involved on the actual day; including your hair and makeup stylist, photographer, ceremony location, reception location, caterer, florist, and transport.
Antonio Livolsi from Our Secret Touch has been in the transport for 15 years. He has seen his fair share of weddings and says that a run sheet is definitely helpful, but his biggest tip is to just stay calm.
"We try and tell a few jokes before they walk down the aisle because a lot of people freak out at the last minute. It's a big day. Some brides are stressed out but when you get a happy bride it's infectious."
Look after your guests
Make sure you have let your guests know that is happening between the ceremony and reception, and if they should arrange their own transport between the venues. It is best to organise transport for the wedding party at least so they can focus on their hosting duties.
