What type of bride would this look suit?
One who is not afraid to rock a red lip! Step out of your comfort zone and try a little bit of colour. The season is calling for it.

What colours and products were used to achieve this look?
For great foundation coverage and longevity I always use Cinema Secrets. I then only lightly powder where anyone would normally get oily (brides with dry skin don’t need to powder).

Eyes and cheeks: I used a gel liner and a neutral shimmery taupe and applied lashes. To highlight the inner corner of the eye I used a shimmer from YSL. For cheeks I contoured with YSL bronzer and then woke the cheeks up with a pink/peach mix blush. I highlighted the face with MAC Mineralize on top of the lips and down the nose rim and top of cheeks.

Lips: For the lips I lined with pencil matching my lipstick. Then to finish off I used YSL Lipstick #8 which is a gorgeous blue based berry.

How have you adapted this runway look for bridal?
We have slightly softened the brows and added some soft false lashes to create a fluttery eye effect while still keeping the strong pink lip, perfect for a spring or summer wedding.

How can we recreate this look at home?
We used the exclusive éllie makeup range.

- Apply Retexturecreme face primer over the face followed by a mix of sheer Luminous Fluide and Liquid Mineral Powder Foundation. Apply Flawless Finish Concealer Duo under eye area and on eyelids.
- Apply Pressed Bronzer Glow to the contours of the cheeks to create definition.
- Pressed Blush Glow in Seduce and Trio Teinte Allure Creme in Pink Parfait was applied to the cheeks for a flushed dewy pop.

- Apply Loose Mineral Crushed Eyeshadow in Starlet and press on the mobile lid of eye.
- Apply a fine line of Does Not Budge Liner Gel in Raven to the top lash line and lower outer-edge lash line followed by individual flare lashes and mascara.

- To give brows strength and frame the face, we used Brush On Brow Palette in Soft Smoke followed by Universale Glow Veile Powder to highlight under brow, cheekbone, inner eye, top of cupids bow on lips and down bridge of nose.

Lips: - Line with Lip Liner in Cotton Candy and fill with Luxe Lisse Creme in Cheeky. Finish with a Touch of Luxe Lisse Gloss in Tina to centre of bottom lip.

What are the main components of this season’s Givenchy look?
Givenchy’s look this season was all about orange and salmon tones. To tweak this look to bridal I’ve steered away from the orange look, which is more high fashion, and replaced it with bronze tones.

What techniques were used in creating this look?
The same colour was used on the lids and underneath the eye. To do this at home, just sweep the colour across the lid and blend the edges to soften, then run the eyeshadow brush through the lower lashes and soften with a cotton bud. I used bronze eyeliner on the inside rim of the eye. I’ve finished the eyes with a chocolate liquid liner, lash curler and mascara.

What products did you use?
For the eyes I used MAC eye primer in Sublime Nature, MAC eyeshadow in Sable, MAC pencil in Teddy, MAC Fluidline in Dip Down and MAC Water Fast Mascara in black. False lashes from WASP. I used MAC Strobe Creme as a primer, MAC Face and Body foundation and Mac Mineralize powder. I highlighted the cheekbones with MAC Soft and Gentle and the blush was by Nars in Madly. For lips I used Nars in Petit Monstre.

What type of bride would this look suit?

This look would suit a bride who is earthy yet wants something stronger than a very natural look. I see it appealing to a bohemian bride.

How can someone at home try this indigo eyeshadow?
I elongated the eyes with a slightly cat-eyed application technique and a slightly dark hue on the outer edge to contour and lift up the eyes. To do this at home, choose a base colour to apply from base of lid to brow bone, then add a light indigo on the eye lid and a slightly darker indigo for a third of the outer eye area. I used light and dark indigo from Napolean.

What type of bride would this look suit?
I would say any bride who wants to add a bit of oomph and steer a little away from the usual “natural look”.

What should a bride do before the wedding to prepare her skin for the big day?
A daily beauty routine is important. Cleanse, tone and moisturise and also a weekly scrub and masque. Eight to 10 glasses of water and lots of fibre will also help give your skin a healthy glow.

What are your top tips for beautiful bridal makeup?
Definitely a perfect foundation base to work with and focusing on bringing out your most outstanding features, instead of trying to change your look.

What are the main components of this season’s Lanvin look?
The designer’s idea was that the Lanvin girl looked young and playful, and almost as though she did her hair herself. The look has been described as very chic, simple, beautiful and ornate. The main focus is a dark smoky eye, neutral lip and sexy hair.

What tips do you have for someone wishing to recreate this look?

The Bobbi Brown gel liner I used can be blended, but once it’s set it won’t move. It’s perfect for brides on their wedding day because it is waterproof and it remains perfect all day and all night.

What other products and colours were used?
• Kevyn Aucoin’s Liquid Airbrush Foundation, powder and contouring powder.
• On Grace’s eyes I used Kitten, Gilded Gold, Luster and Ebony from Stila’s In the Light Palette.
• For the cheeks I used my favourite blush, Orgasm by Nars, with a little Shadore by Kevyn Aucoin. MAC Creme de Nude was applied to Grace’s lips.

What are the main components of this season’s Oscar De La Renta look?
Big, bright, bold lips! As well as highlighting and contouring the cheeks and brows.

A significant part of this look is the eyeliner; how can this be recreated at home?
The eyeliner and tail make the eyes appear larger and really complete this look. Using gel eyeliner with an angle brush to apply, mark out the area you want to be coloured close to the top lash line, slightly extending outwards and stopping at the end of top lash line. Then from the end of the bottom lash line, draw out as far as you like going in the direction of where your eyebrow ends. Create a point from where the eyeliner tail stopped and direct it back to the top eyelid and connect liner at this point. From here -you can make it as fine or as bold as you desire.

What type of bride would suit this look?
A bride who is not afraid of colour and being the centre of attention. She will be confi dent within herself and love a traditional, yet timeless look.
