Achieve a beautiful and natural look on your wedding day with these easy tips!

A natural bridal look is a look that is actually quite difficult to achieve. So where do we draw the line on what looks natural and what does not? Here's our list of makeup ideas and rituals that will help you achieve the most natural look on your wedding day.

Outdoor weddings
For outdoor weddings, it is best to aim for a light and simple makeup look. Using pale colours and colours containing shimmer will allow for your skin to reflect its natural beauty and glow. Highlighting areas of importance such as the cheekbones, brow bone and middle zone of the forehead will help lift your face and help you create your ultimate natural bridal makeup look.

Prime in time
Make sure that prior to any application of cosmetic product that you prime. Priming can be achieved by applying any type of moisturizer or a makeup primer. The sole purpose of priming is to prep the skin for when foundation is applied so that it sits perfectly on the skin. The primer will reduce the appearance of dry spots, cracks and even to some extent; fine lines. This will allow you to achieve your most natural bridal makeup look.

Simple and elegant
Tanned eyelids, bronzed up cheek bones and nude coloured lip stick will set that aisle alight. This super natural bridal makeup look will have you stealing centre stage on your wedding day. This makeup look will best be accompanied by a nice set of diamond earrings and a set of delicate eyelash extensions.

As natural as can be
You will only need a touch of blush and a nude or tan coloured eye shadow to achieve the most effortless look. Nevertheless, they will still give you some life and colour. To add an extra touch, a fresh clear gloss on those luscious lips will do the trick.

Extravagance bonanza
For brides wanting a natural and more out-there look, the extravagance bonanza is the look for you. This look will require the smokey eye look; however, you don’t need to use black as this may look to harsh on certain skin tones. Instead, use brown or another colour. Add some brown shimmery bronzer and blush, as well as highlighting powder for the T-zone. To finish off your look, add some cherry coloured lip stick.

So give it a go and get practicing before your wedding day!
