Platinum rings aren’t the only metals weighing down fashion-forward brides. Sydney bridal designer Diane Lewis believes metallic wedding gown fabrics could be the “next big thing“ in bridal couture - this platinum-threaded gown by Italian couturier Domo Adami a case in point. “Fabric houses in Europe are investing in materials made of metal thread,“ says Diane, who has a variety of fabrics with metallic fi nishes in her range. As well as giving off extra shine, metal-based fabrics can be scrunched and moulded into shape. “You can actually sculpt the gown,“ says Diane. Visit facebook.com/Diane.Lewis.Couture
